Toronto based photographer, Michael G. O'Brien is known primarily for the intuitive, natural way that he photographs people. His formal portraits, as well as his travel and documentary images of people are all built on a foundation of trust and respect. Michael's work explores the themes of identity in the individual, the family and the community. This approach continues into Michael's intimate photo-essays of the places to which he travels.

Michael is also a digital imaging and workflow teacher, who works privately and at the College level, training industry professionals, committed amateurs and traditional film users as they move into the world of digital photography.

Michael O'Brien's colour work can be purchased in Chromogenic color print or giclée print formats. His black and white images are available in traditional silver gelatin prints and giclée on a variety of papers.

Licensing can be arranged for most images. In the near future this site will be set up for online sales of Hi res digital files and fine art prints. Call 416-778-6521 or email: michael@michaelobrienphoto.com for further information about buying Michael's images.
